DAILY PRAYER (BY SPURGEON)
Accept, this morning, the thanksgiving of some that have been very sick, but who once again feel strength returning. Receive the thanksgiving of others who have been delivered out of great trouble, or who have seen their dear ones raised up from beds of languishing. We all have some cause for thankfulness, therefore we will praise the Lord from the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same.
Amen.
VERSE OF THE DAY (COMMENTARY BY SPURGEON)
“When the sun was setting, all those who had anyone sick with various diseases brought them to him. As he laid his hands on each one of them, he healed them.” (Luke 4:40)
He is still mighty to save. We long for him to display his ancient power now and lay his healing hands on every one of you! What fame he would get if he would do so! What joy there would be if all of you should now be turned to God! And why should it not be? Christ is able to do this; then, let us ask it of him in earnest believing prayer.
PRAY FOR THE NATIONS
This week, we’re praying for the Rind of Pakistan.
“He has remembered his love and faithfulness to the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen our God’s victory” (Psalm 98:3). God’s victory extends to the ends of the earth, but the announcement of God’s victory has not yet reached the ends of the earth. The gospel must be preached to the Rind.
Pray that a great number of Rind Christians would worship Christ forever.

LAST WORD FROM SPURGEON
