DAILY PRAYER (BY SPURGEON)
We have life; give it to us more abundantly. We long to have so much life that out of the midst of us there might flow rivers of living water. Lord, make us useful. Dear Savior, use the very least among us; take the one talent and let it be put out to interest for the great Father. May it please you to show each one of us what you would have us to do. In our families, in our business, in the walks of ordinary life may we be serving the Lord, and may we often speak a word for his name and help in some way to scatter the light amongst the ever-growing darkness.
Amen.
VERSE OF THE DAY (COMMENTARY BY SPURGEON)
“And he died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for the one who died for them and was raised.” (2 Corinthians 5:15)
The life of the saved man must never be lived for himself; he is false to his profession if it is so. He must henceforth live as earnestly for God as, before, in his unregenerate state, he lived for himself, for he now has a new life which is not his own, to do with it as he pleases, but it belongs entirely to him who purchased it with his own most precious blood.
PRAY FOR THE NATIONS
This week, we’re praying for the Lasi of Pakistan.
The Lasi are a large ethnic group of 181,000 people. They are all Muslims with no Christians among them or churches nearby. There is no Bible in their language. They will never hear the hope of Jesus unless someone from the outside brings it to them.
Pray that God would send missionaries to the Lasi.
RECOMMENDED RESOURCE
Want to love the people around you? God will help.

A fantastic resource to help you open your eyes to these God-given opportunities is A Loving Life by Paul Miller. This book is filled with practical steps and encouragement that will enable you to persevere in serving others.
Every book by Paul Miller is a wonderful picture of God’s unfailing grace; A Loving Life is no different. This book will up-end your life in a way that will leave you filled with more joy than ever before. I hope you’ll grab a copy today.
LAST WORD FROM SPURGEON
“You can live for this world or the next; but to live for both is impossible.” — Charles Spurgeon
