DAILY PRAYER (BY SPURGEON)
May every breath be for you; may every minute be spent for you. Help us to live while we live and while we are busy in the world as we must be, for we are called to it, may we sanctify the world for your service. May we be lumps of salt in the midst of society. May our spirit and temper as well as our conversation be heavenly; may there be an influence about us that shall make the world the better before we leave it. Lord hear us in this thing.
Amen.
VERSE OF THE DAY (COMMENTARY BY SPURGEON)
“Remember that my life is but a breath.” (Job 7:7)
As if God only looked at him, and the very look withered him; or as if there was only time for God just to look at him, and then he disappeared as though he had been but a dream, an insubstantial thing. It is good, my brethren, sometimes to know what vanities we are; and if we complain that things around us are vanity, what are we ourselves but the shadows of a shade?
PRAY FOR THE NATIONS
This week, we’re praying for the Balti of Pakistan.
God promised Abraham that “all the peoples on earth will be blessed through” him (Genesis 12:3). The Balti people have never heard the name of Jesus, the Son of Abraham who will bring blessing to all the earth.
Pray that God would send missionaries to the Balti of Pakistan.

What parents are saying about God Centered Family
Earlier this week, I told you about my series of family devotionals, God Centered Family. Over the last few weeks, I’ve heard some really great feedback about these devotionals from real parents that I wanted to share with you.
“I like that the verses are broken down and questions are already written to go with them. We LOVE the song suggestions. They are so rich with theology.” — Lauren J.
“I like how organized and concise they are. I also love that they are biblically sound.” — Brianne J.
“I am grateful to the Lord that God Centered Family exists. As a youth pastor, this is one resource (aside from the Bible) that I always recommend to parents.” — Jonathan C.
“These devotionals are slowly planting the word of God in my kids heart each day. I see them developing a biblical world view as it’s a part of our everyday lives.” — Angela C.
I’m so thankful to hear how God is using these devotionals and I can’t wait to hear about how he uses it in your home!
