DAILY PRAYER (BY SPURGEON)
May every child of yours have his conscience purged from dead works to serve the true and living God. May there be no cloud between us and our heavenly Father, not even a mist, not even the morning mist that is gone quickly. May we walk in the light as God is in the light. May our fellowship with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ, be unquestionable; may it be fuel; may it fill us with joy; may it be a most real fact this day; may we enjoy it to the full, knowing whom we have believed, knowing who is our Father, knowing who it is that dwells in us, even the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
VERSE OF THE DAY (COMMENTARY BY SPURGEON)
“The LORD is near all who call out to him, all who call out to him with integrity.” (Psalm 145:18)
Not only near by his omnipresence, but he is also near to sympathize and bless. He does not leave praying people or anyone who confesses his name, to battle with the world alone, but he is always at their side. This favor is not for a few of those who invoke him; but for each one of the pious company. “All” who place themselves beneath the shield of his glorious name by calling themselves by it, and by calling upon it in supplication, shall find him to be a very present help in trouble.
PRAY FOR THE NATIONS
This week, we’re praying for the Belide in Indonesia.
The Belide live near several other tribes and can easily understand other dialects and languages. If God saved some of them and a church was started among them, they could become a mighty force for future missions.
Pray that God would send faithful missionaries to the Belide.

Drawing close to God as a family
This week, as we focus on being close to God, I know that a lot of parents want to connect with God alongside their kids in a meaningful and unifying way. We don’t just want God to be a part of our lives — we want him to be the center of our family.
And that’s why I created God Centered Family, to give parents a simple, easy-to-use, daily guide for placing God at the center of our homes.
When you subscribe to God Centered Family, you’ll receive instant access to a library of daily family devotionals. These interactive guides will take less than 10 minutes each day and they’re designed to be used with kids of any age.
I can’t wait to hear about how God uses this to draw your family closer to one another and closer to him.
