Parents, make sure you read to the end of todayās newsletter to see a new resource Iāve put out to help your family have a God Centered Christmas this year.
DAILY PRAYER (BY SPURGEON)
Oh Christ Jesus our Lord, you are still mighty to heal and we are a group who have come together full of sicknesses and sores and sorrows of all kinds. We would not waste a moment while blessings are so rife and the power to heal is so remarkably present in you; but we would each strive to touch you, if we may, and ask that this day virtue would come out of you, oh blessed risen Christ, to heal us of whatever disease we have.
Amen.
VERSE OF THE DAY (COMMENTARY BY SPURGEON)
āFor his invisible attributes, that is, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen since the creation of the world, being understood through what he has made. As a result, people are without excuse.ā (Romans 1:20)
He is almighty, all-wise, all-gracious, knowing everything, being in every place, constantly present, the emanations of his power found in every part of the universe. God is infinitely glorious; and unless we treat him as such, we have not treated him as he ought to be treated.
PRAY FOR THE NATIONS
This week, weāre praying for the Pashtun of Pakistan.
As Muslims, the Pashtun believe that they must follow the five pillars of Islam which are the first steps of salvation.
Pray that the Pashtun would hear the good news of the gospel of grace.

A New Resource to Celebrate Christmas with Your Kids
I love Christmas and, as a parent, want my kids to enjoy Christmas too. But more than delight at the presents under the tree and glee from their favorite carols, I want my kids to know the true meaning of Christmas.
Unfortunately, thatās easier said than done. Our world is always full of distractions, but they seem to be even louder around Christmas. Gifts, snow days, and magic elves from the North Pole steal our childrenās attention (and our own!) away from the reason for the season.
Thatās why Iāve been working on a new Advent devotional for families, The King is Coming, which walks through the Bibleās big story ā focusing on Godās people longing for a king to come and make everything right again.
This is a 31-day devotional that begins on December 1 so that your family can join in the longings of Godās people from Israelās history, looking forward to a king. Itās interactive, with age-specific resources and activities for kids of all ages.
This family devotional is available exclusively to God Centered Family subscribers, so I hope you will subscribe and prepare for Christmas with us.
